  1. Hi Matt It's not going to be easy to find a rear seat for a convertible. I own a upholstery shop and do a lot of auto upholstery. I would look for a set out of a 2 door hardtop or sedan, and have them cut down and re welded to size. Looks like your are going to have to have the front ones reupholstered. The rear seats could be done at the same time. I have a 1954 Buick Special convertible that I'm working on. I will measure the lengh of the seat and back that I have. I don't know if the Roadmaster is wider, if it is you would have to add on to the size.
  2. I need doors, windshield. fenders and other parts. I live in NY state and the car sat outside for 25 years. That's why I would like to find a parts car. Thanks for your reply.
  3. Hi I,m restoring a 1954 Buick Special convertible. I'm interested in finding a parts car. Would like to find a 2 door so I can use the body parts. Thanks Rich
  4. Hi I wanted to thank everyone for the replies. I'm posting some pictures of the car as I found it. This is where it had been sitting for the last 25 years. It was not an easy task getting this car pulled out of there. I would also like to find a parts car. 1954 Buick Special.
  5. I have a 1954 Buick Special convertible that sat in a orchard for 25 years. Unfortunately the whole bottom of the car is rusted out. Would it be possible to take a 2 door hard top and use the parts off of the convertible to make it into a convertible? I see the convertible frame has more body supports than the hard top has. What other frame or body parts would be different? Any advice would be appreciated.
