Windshield and rear window clips
Carl_3754 replied to Norwgian Special's topic in Technical Questions
I have a model 61 but had challenges finding the correct clips as well. I think it was the ones from Fusick that I finally usd but they were challenging to say the least. Have you tried sending your used ones to Restoration Specialities? I'm glad you could buy the salvage and found another 1954 but that is small consolation. Your old car was gorgeous and you put so much sweat equity into it that part of me is surprised you want to go through the restoration process again. Good luck with the new endeavor,

Thanks for explaining. Tried the url and found the site but not the specific picture in question.

Just assumed the rear wing windows on a Special opened. Odd Buick would take the cheap route even on a Special. It looks like in the picture there is a latch. What is 200.webp#0-grid1? Can't copy and paste, click on it? Carl

What is the difference between the rear wing windows on a Special and a Century?

You are welcome. I missed it also when I searched for it, then I searched through my records. Once I did a search for the part number it popped right up. No, we couldn't possibly be old getting old.

I bought my fuel hose from Cars. It doesn't look exactly like the original, but it works. http://www.oldbuickparts.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=gl536&search_in_description=1&x=0&y=0 Carl

I don't know anything about the wall hanging as far as location, who made it or when. Just liked it.

Not sure if this is the correct place to put this post, but thought you guys might enjoy seeing my newest wall hanging. I was at a friends widow's garage sale and bought this as it serves a dual purpose, decoration and a reminder of Tom. I don't know where he got it or anything about it other than it is thick paper about 16 inches wide and 13 inches tall and printed on both sides. Carl

Thanks for the pictures of what the jack for my 54 Century is supposed to look like. These are the pictures of the jack that was in my car when I got it, and I was doubtful that it was correct. I can't find any numbers on it at all. Anybody know what this jack is from? Carl
