  2. http://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/4428980942.html Friend of mine sent me this. Car is in Louisville, KY.
  3. So the first weekend in May I'm driving the 54 Super to Dewey Oklahoma with the lonely knights car club for the Stray cat 500. This will be the first long trip for my Buick. We're driving from Colorado Springs so it should be about a 10 hour haul. Somewhere on here I thought I saw a thread on suggestions of parts and tools to carry for the ol' nailhead. Anyone have any suggestions or know where to find that thread? I already plan on bringing: hoses, a belt, plugs, fuses, points.
  4. I am going out on Sunday to look over a drivetrain from a '54 Super. Anything in particular you are looking for, I will be happy to work out a deal with the guy. I have first dibs on Dynaflow and rear end. Let me know what you want and price range. If it is heavy, I can deliver to the Nationals in Portland.
  5. This is the headlight bezel that I had mentioned in an earlier thread. Respond if you are interested. Looking for offers. Keep in mind there is only one headlight bezel, not two.

  7. I have an opportunity to buy four wide whitewalls for my super at a very reasonable price. The book says that I need a 7.10 tire and these tires are 6.70. Any problem using a 6.70 tire on a super that is driven locally at 50 mph speeds. Thanks
  8. I'm new in the world of Buicks and I started to search for a 66R, non running but in fair condition, and I see that the Special 46R is very similar, What is the main difference between the two models?
  9. Frankenbuick for sale.....enough said. http://stlouis.en.craigslist.org/cto/4367606781.html
  10. Hey guys, Looks like a pretty decent 46R project on Craigslist in NV. Sure would be a looker with that color combo. The yellow, black and red reminds me of the yellow Skylark 54fins had. http://reno.craigslist.org/cto/4363063010.html
  11. Just spotted on Ebay... for sale in Poland. Price is sky-high, although the car is very well equipped: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291090612852?clk_rvr_id=599313203086&item=291090612852&lgeo=1&vectorid=229487
  12. I have a running 54 Dynaflow car and a complete 54 3 on the tree parts car. Can I make the swap and use the 3 speed manual in place of the dynaflow and just swap flywheels or are the cranks shafts different from the dynaflow to the 3 speed ? I would need to rebuild the parts car engine to use it and would much perfer to use the good engine now in the dynaflow car. HELP Thank you very much for your time! Tony
  13. not mine Craigs list http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/ctd/4339312942.html, and http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/4336197645.html
  14. I am selling my 54' Roadmaster Riviera 2 door hardtop. The car is original, with a repaint of the factory color combination. It is in very good condition. It is a very nice driver Buick. Additional info upon request. I'm asking $ 18,500.00. Email: corbuck6147@att.net
  15. Well, the (20)yr anniversary just passed this summer and I am forced to sell the <99-2-Life>> Buick. Not so much of a life sentence, eh? A single father with (2) daughters, now that is forever special. Figured I would see if this collective group would be interested before I list it in other medias. Again, 10 years ago coming back from Paso Robles Car show, this came off the trailer and pancaked the roof. Fenders and doors are off a parts car that I bought. My intentions were to make this a fair weather convertible. I have all interior pieces as it was completely redone prior. Even
  16. Hey wagon fans, this one is in the southwest, but sounds like it is pretty solid. http://elpaso.en.craigslist.org/cto/4310596504.html
  17. 1955 Buick Century (66C) Convertible. Pictures and restoration details at http:/www.buickrestorer.com $80,000 or better offer. Initial contact by private message on this forum.
  18. So you guys might wonder why I look so happy to be standing beside a newly purchased 1956 Century 4dr hardtop. Truth is, I bought this car as a parts car for my 54. Why this particular car you ask? Besides the fact that it is complete and has the more powerful 322 and is not stuck, it also has factory power steering and power brakes with the newer style master cylinder that mounts low on the firewall instead of under the car. It has a good frame that is already stamped out for dual exhaust. But what really makes this parts car special sits under the hood. I think the pictures speak for t
  19. Here it is, the second Wildcat II. We had a Skylark Club get together in Arizona combined with the local Buick Club. There was only 1 Wildcat, but GM allowed molds of the parts so this is the second one, albeit not a real one. Built on a 1954 Corvette. They do want it ready for Iowa, but that might not happen!
  20. Hi everyone. I'm new here and looking for help from the experts! I'm looking for a back seat for a 1954 Buick Roadmaster Convertible. Are they very specific or is it possible to make one work from a similar model/year? Thank you for any help you can give.
  21. A friend sent this link to me yesterday and I thought I'd pass it on. https://www.facebook.com/shockleykustoms#!/photo.php?fbid=251942338304513&set=a.220177108147703.1073741828.220170558148358&type=1&theater

  24. I just found this site the other day and have been able to do nothing but pour over the site, taking in all the great pictures and stories. To be honest, I found this site because I was checking to see what my Buick might be worth. I am in the process of downsizing. But you guys have got my blood flowing again and the new place will just have to have enogh room for one extra car. I am anxious to get the Buick out and clean it up and begin enjoying it again. Here is a picture of when I came across this beauty, 1974. Sorry the picture is a little dark. I have a couple more that I will send on a
  25. The Buick Highway has several manuals for sale, which one would be the best one to find all the information on weatherstripping and all of the hardware, runners, channels, etc for the windows. I have a 1954 Buick Special Estate Wagon and it would be nice to have an idea what I'm looking at before I start taking things apart. Steele rubber products seems to have a good selection, any advice on suppliers would be appreciated.
